The Fool on the Hill

Bush says wants action on gasoline plan by end 2008 | Reuters

In his State of the Union speech in January, Bush floated a proposal to raise U.S. biofuels production five times current levels by 2017 and raise automobile fuel economy standards by 4 percent a year through 2017.

He doesn't have a clue, or he actually does, and is lying. Biofuel is another non-scalable dead end. Biofuel on the scale that he is talking about would use all the arable land in the U.S., meaning we would have to import all our food from outside the U.S.

So, foreign fuel, or foreign food? Recent events have shown what foreign food can do for us.
